Either you believe or you don't believe does not change this truth. So many scientific theories, and evidence over the years has failed to proof that the earth is not created by God. God 's work is too big to be check or proof by scientific processes. The more they try is the more confuse they are.        God in our text today was declared as the one that owns heaven and earth. Whatever you are, whatever you be, or accomplished, you still belongs to God. Everything in the earth belongs to him, even things in the earth, hence he deserves our praise, worship and glory. Matthew 2:2    A true story was told of a child who was born, and when he was born, the parents had a feeling that he was not an ordinary child and decided to consult an herbalist who consulted ifa oracle and told them that the child was a glorious child with a great glory but his destiny will be fulfilled in a white man's land. The parents were worried thinking if the child travelled overseas how would he take care of them being the only child. The herbalist told them to throw the child placenta into the river and the dream of going overseas will be gone. And placed him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn Luke 2:7   The news of his birth was too good to be true for a man to understand without the help of the Holy Spirit. How can a saviour be born in a manger? How can the king of the Jew be born into such a lowly background? All these questions and many more made some people to doubt if Jesus Christ is the expected messiah    Jesus was born into a lowly background to confound the wise that God work in a way that humans will never understand. One of the lessons from his birth was that if you are not humble enough as a child and believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, you will miss heaven. Luke 1:45      It is usually said that seeing is believing but this is not true in Christian faith. You have to believe first before seeing. The angel told Mary that her relative a barren woman was pregnant. She did not believe because Elizabeth had been written off. The angel further said blesssed are those that believe what the LORD has said, At this statement, she accepted without arguing. So the people grumble against Moses, Exodus 15:24   It is natural to be afraid when you are faced with unforeseen troubles and circumstances.We all have moment of fears.The children of Isreal were faced with one of their greatest fears, they were in between the red sea and host of army of Egypt. It was like the trouble they ran away from had located them unexpectedly. Fear gripped them and they began to grumble. Do you also have fears, the word of God for you today is to walk out of your fears, looking at your trouble will keep you at a spot but rather look at God who says fear not for I am with you. Instead of complaining or grumbling, start praising God and you will see his salvation. Until you move on with God you may not experience God's salvation. Luke 12:15   We are in the dispensation where people place too much value on materials and possessions. People talk about richest pastor,richest footballer, richest man and measure success in life in terms of wealthand material acquisition.   Jesus is saying beware in our text today, what is the essence of acquiring wealth when others around you are suffering, it is high time we guarded against all forms of greed. Jesus Christ stressed it and emphasized it over and over that a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. Text: Luke 9: 61    The reason why so many people will end in hell is because of the people who they hold in high esteem and they cannot offend or separate themselves from.Following Christ will part you with those friends and families who don't believe in your faith. Failure to break away from this emotional attachment may cost you your faith. Beware of any emotional attachment that will make you deny your faith. Luke 9:58   Saint Francis of Assisi was born into a very wealthy family, he had an encounter with Christ and became a Christian. He had the burden to take the gospel to places where it has not been heard, this made him to sell all he had, left his mansion and was wandering on streets to preach the gospel to a common man. Despite being made of gold, it's still a toilet used for ignoble purpose likewise a plastic spoon can be a vessel of great honour in a king's Palace where it is being used for a noble purpose. Luke 22:37   Life problems is synonymous to a prison yard where everything is regimented and the heart is troubled. It's the beginning we know but it's as if it will not end   Jesus Christ was once in that situation and he said what has befallen him has an ending. 3rd February, 2020 Topic: A good tree, a good fruit Text: Luke 6: 44   A lady was on a skimpy clothes to the church and she was asked, why did you come like this to church and her reply was God judge by heart and not by look or appearance.   In our text today, Jesus emphasized a good tree does not produce bad fruit. A bad water cannot come from a good tap. You cannot say your heart is beautiful and your appearance will not glorify God.
