Wednesday 1st April, 2020 Topic: Better by far Text: Daniel 1:14-21 Golden Text:  In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.Dan 1:20 Everybody want to be great in life but only few can pay the price.  Daniel and his friends were ten times better than all the magicians, enchanters in the kingdom because they paid the price of discipline in learning, discipline in diligence, discipline in honoring God and discipline over self. To beat the best and be the best does not come easily but it usually comes with a price of discipline. Exercise discipline in every area of your life and you will discover that you will be better by far than your contemporaries. Prayer : Father help me to exercise discipline in all areas of my life and release on me anointing to be ten times better than all in Jesus name.

Tuesday 31st March, 2020 Topic: No more delay Text: Ezekiel 12:21-28 Golden Text: "Therefore say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign LORD." Ezek 12: 28 Delays are setbacks and could stop a man from fulfilling his dreams and aspirations in life. In the text, the people were no longer interested in prophecies because so many things had been said without coming to fulfillment but it took God himself to convince them that there shall no longer be delays. Have constant delays made you given up on your life given dreams and visions? The word of God for you today is that there shall no longer be delay and all delayed projects, undertakings shall be completed in Jesus name. Prayer: Father in your mercies break away every curse of delay operating in my life and family in Jesus name.

Monday 30th March, 2020 Topic: Godly determination Text: Daniel 1 :1-8 Golden Text : But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. Daniel 1:8 Good things does come easily, it call for resolute and discipline. Daniel and his colleagues decided not to defile themselves with the royal food and wine. They were conscious that they were  Jewish slaves and they were there for a training. Instead of being carried away by pleasure of dining and wining, they made a resolute not to eat the royal food. The result was that they emerged as the best among their colleagues.  Do you want uncommon success ? You have to resolute not to defile yourself with pleasure today and you shall experience good success. Prayer: Father help me  to say no to pleasure that will distract me from great success you intend for me in Jesus name.

Sunday 29th March, 2020 Topic: There is still hope Text: Ezekiel 37:1-14 Golden Text:Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' Ezekiel 37:11 The nation of Israel was faced with a hopeless situation. They were in exile, families had been scattered, subjected to hard labour and little or no freedom. It looked as if they will end up and died in captivity. It was in this situation God gave the prophet  vision at the valley of dry bones and asked him can't this bones live again. It was a hard question,seeing scattered dry bones all around, he admitted that only God knows. God told him to prophesy and as he did the dried bones located itself and a vast army arose. If God is able to bring a scattered nation into a great country to be reckoned with in the the world what is it that God cannot do. Saturday 28th March, 2020 Topic: Nothing is hard for God to do Text: Jeremiah 32:17-27 Golden Text: "I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27 In hard and critical situation, we find it difficult to believe that God can still make a way because the natural response to it is why did God allow it. If he allow it may be it is beyond his control. You are not alone in any hard situation you may find yourself. God is right there with you. In our text today, doing God's business got Jeremiah prison sentence, right there, God led him to buy a land and God was assuring him that business activities will totally be restored in Jerusalem after the nation's doom. Friday 27th March, 2020 Topic: Jonadab Recab Legacies Text: Jeremiah 35:1-16 Golden Text: Jer 35:19 Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'Jonadab son of Recab will never fail to have a man to serve me.'" A good home is built on legacies that the family has sustained over years. Legacy is beyond money or property bequeathed but also values, character held as heritage. Jonadab the son of Recab had a legacy of total abstinence from wine, and his generations held to  this value as an heritage till the time of writing of this book. God honour good legacies, he pronounced generational blessing on his home that he will never cease to have a man to serve him and also pointed him to the southern Kingdom of Israel as a reference for them to repent from their evil ways. Thursday 26th March, 2020 Topic: God rewards Text:  And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.Hebrews 11:6 God does not owe anybody, whatever a man sows he will reap. The harvest may tarry but surely there is a reward for every labour of love in God's kingdom. In our text today, God is committed to reward everyone who diligently seeks him earnestly. God cannot be deceived he know exactly your works and that is why you need to strive to get God's reward. His reward will not be limited because he see it all and He does not need anyone to tell him or give him report about what you have done. Wednesday 25th March, 2020 Topic: God is not unjust Text: God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.Hebrew 6:10 At times when Christians are faced with persecutions, trials, pains, loss of a loved one and other uncertainties of life, We are depressed, shocked and at times raised questions. It looks as if our God is powerless to save us from the situation but in our text today, the writer of the Hebrew said God is not unjust.  God is aware of everything that you are passing through right now and be rest assured that he will not forget your good work and labour in his vineyard. Text: Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?'  Ezekiel 33: 11 A driver on a journey usually have a destination at focus, No matter how long he might have traveled on a wrong road, he have to turn back if he must get to his envisioned destination. Monday 23rd March, 2020 Topic: When boys are leaders Text: Isaiah 3:1-4 Golden Text: Isa 3:4 I will make boys their officials; mere children will govern them. In some nations today, boys and mere children are officials and are at the helm of affairs. They are called boys or mere children because they don't have understanding of the concept of leadership, they were leaders just for the purpose of having power to oppress the poor and amass wealth for themselves at the expense of their nation with deafening ears to the cry of their citizens. In our text today it is evident that what could make a boy or a mere child to govern a nation is an evidence of curse from the LORD. Let us arise and pray to God so that he can heal our land from curse that made wrong people to govern us. Sunday 22nd March, 2020 Topic: Move forward Text: Exodus 14: 15  Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Exodus 14:15 Until the Israelites were still, Moses could not hear from God and when God spoke it seemed not to make sense. God said" go forward" but there was red sea ahead, Egyptians were behind but God himself knew what to do. They moved on and God fought for them. During the period of silence in the midst of problems of life or challenge, find out what God is saying. If he is telling you to move forward just like the Israelites, Do not stay behind. Do you know if the Israelites had stayed behind, the Egyptians would have wasted them. God knows what to do to put an end to your problem. Exodus14:1-14 The Israelites were led out of Egypt by God with a mighty hand but as they approached the red sea,They saw the dreaded Egyptian army behind them with chariots of war. They were greatly distressed, trembled, murmured, complained and terribly afraid until Moses calmed them down.  Are you presently experiencing such a fear synonymous to that of Israelites? You started a project with God's backing and all of a sudden you were in a debt, no money to complete it or God led you into a relationship and you are presently in a deep crises.
