 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD MONDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 2021 TEXT: Ecclesiastes 3:1  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: TOPIC: SEASON OF HARVEST (1)        There is a time and season for everything on earth. There is a time to plant and there is a time to harvest. The planting time is associated with stress, labour, tears and pains. The planting season is not a fun time but a time to labour. Every farmer look up towards harvest because it is a time to reap whatever they have sowed.           The harvest depend on what you sow. The harvest is a moment of joy and celebration for the farmers but not all all farmers usually have that joy. This is your season of harvest, you have laboured hard for the first ten months, it is time to appreciate God and thank him for all the benefits you have received from him. It is a moment where tears are wiped away. It is a season of laughter and thanksgiving.  Prayer: I enter into the harvests that God have prepared for m

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY OCTOBER 31ST 2021 TEXT: Romans 8:13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. TOPIC: WALK IN THE SPIRIT (6)            Walking in the spirit is dwelling in the spirit at all times. The spirit is just like rivers of water. The deeper you go into the waters the safer and better you are from the reach of the flesh. Many a people fall into temptation because they walk out of the Spirit of God.            The Spirit of God is a niche where a child of God must stay always if he must live victorious over the works of the flesh. A move out of the niche is usually trouble. A fish cannot survive outside the water likewise a child of God cannot survive without the spirit.        Walking in the Spirit is a deliberate and conscious efforts of saying no continuously to the works of flesh which tend to corrupt and desecrate us in the presence of God thereby making our worship unacceptable

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 30TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: John 3:8  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. TOPIC: WALK IN THE SPIRIT (5)           The ways of the Spirit of God is similar to that of wind. wind blows this way and that. You hear the rustling through trees, but you have no idea of where it comes from or where it is headed next.           You cannot use your senses to figure out how walking in the Spirit works. Nicodemus did not understand how he had to be born of Spirit before he could enter the kingdom of God. He wanted evidences. Jesus told him no evidences except that of a changed life.           Walking in the Spirit is a mystery which you have to believe, accept it that way and allow the Spirit of God in you to transform your life so that you can begin to walk in the Spirit all the days of your life Prayer: Father I receive grace to wa

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD FRIDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER 2021 TEXT: Romans 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. TOPIC: WALK IN THE SPIRIT (4)             A carnal man cannot pleases God. It takes a man walking in the Spirit of God to fulfill God's commandments, instructions and will. The flesh is program to indulge in sinful acts, the mind naturally think negative thoughts and these can only be checked by accepting Christ and allowing him to lead us.              The Spirit of Christ that possess believers at conversion is able to protect them from indulging in sin of they will only allow her and take responsibilities for their thoughts and feeding their soul daily with the word of God. The Word of God is Spirit and is able to sanctify us and purge us from sin if we allow her. Prayer: I receive grace to operate in the Spirit of God at all times in Jesus name

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD THURSDAY 28TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: John 3:6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. TOPIC: WALK IN THE SPIRIT (3) Man is a spirit with a soul residing in the flesh. It is a natural thing for a man to do the desires of the flesh but it is hard for a man to do the things of the Spirit except his spirit is regenerated.   Jesus said except a man is born again he cannot enter the kingdom of God. A man that is not born again,is carnal and is subject to his carnal desires. A man that will enter the kingdom of God must have the Spirit of God in him that will quicken the mortal body to do what is right. That which is born of the flesh shall be led by the flesh and that which is born of the Spirit shall be led by the Spirit. Are you born again? Submit your life to him today and the Holy Spirit will possess and guide you at all times. Prayer: Father help me to obey your Spirit at all times in Jesus name.

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD WEDNESDAY 27TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: John 6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. TOPIC: WALK IN THE SPIRIT (2)  Walking in the spirit is a continuous and deliberate action. It is not an easy road but God is able to help you if you will be willing to allow God have his way in your life .       The word of God is spirit and life. For you to grow and walk in the Spirit, You have to feed on the word daily like a food until his word in you becomes life. It is the word of God that direct, lead and guide when the flesh want to raise war against the spirit. The flesh cannot subdue the Spirit if our Spirit man is activated by the word of God which is life and Spirit. Prayer: Father help me to walk in the Spirit at all times in Jesus name.

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD TUESDAY 26TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. TOPIC: WALK IN THE SPIRIT (1)          At the point of conversion only the spirit of a man gets converted. The soul and the body is not regenerated. This connotes that a man's pattern of thinking does not change and his cravings does not change.          What changes the soul and body? It is the ability of a saved soul to walk in the Spirit of God. The Spirit man has been activated and it speaks, teaches, direct, instruct in a way one should go. Sometimes like a form of still voice, sometimes our conscience speaks and sometimes through a form of inner peace. The only way to overcome the works of the flesh is to walk in the Spirit.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD MONDAY 25TH OCTOBER, 2019 TEXT: Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. TOPIC: THE WORKS OF THE FLESH            The flesh and the spirit are usually at war against each other. The Spirit want to do what is right but the flesh want to satisfy it's lust. The flesh is just a representation for sin that our mortal bodies crave for. The mortal body cannot be regenerated, it dies here on the earth, it is just like a container, the spirit and soul of man will leave the body at death and the body is buried.         The flesh knows all is ending here on earthfor her and she wants to do all in her capability to ensure that the spirit and soul of a man is corrupted through lusts.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 24TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: Exodus 17:12  But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. TOPIC: MINISTRY OF HELPS (4)          Ministry of helps is providing support to ease ministering. Ministry of helps is the pillar that hold all form of ministries and at times we do not see the pillars, all we see is the beautiful house. Most ministries will crumble like a pack of cards if support were withdrawn.      Moses was interceding for the army of Israel on the battle field, when his hands were raised up in prayers, the isrealites kept defeating the Amalekites and at a moment he got tired, he raised down his hands and the Army of Israel were losing.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY OCTOBER 23RD 2021 TEXT: Luk 8:3  Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod's household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means. TOPIC: MINISTRY OF HELPS (3)      Ministry of helps is necessary for the expansion of the kingdom of God. No man is an island and we all need each other. The greatness of a ministry is dependent on the helps that it is receiving on a daily basis. Jesus operated the greatest ministry on earth. He operated in all the five folds of ministry and healed all form of sickness and diseases. Despite the greatness of Jesus's ministry, it still needed support from people who were committed to finance his ministry out of their daily means.  No act of ministry is small or inconsequential. The little things we do for Christ matters a lot in the kingdom of God. That little giving, that intercessory prayer in the corner of your room is enough to support another man's ministry i

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD FRIDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: 2nd Kings 3:15  But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him. TOPIC: MINISTRY OF HELPS (2) The ministry of helps is any assistance render to make the work of Apostles, prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and teachers easier. Everyone in the church have a role to play.      Two kings consulted Elisha  to know their fate concerning the battle that was ahead of them. Elisha requested for the help of a ministrel. The ministrel came and began to minister with his harp, annointing came on Elisha and he prophesied.          What could have taken Elisha a long time, he would have told them to come back in two days or three days time but in a matter of minutes he got answer. The ministry of helps simply  makes the work of ministry easy. Ministering without helps can be tasky and frustrating. As ministers we need to identify helps so that we can save ourselves time and energy.

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD THURSDAY 21ST OCTOBER,2021 TEXT: Acts 6:2  Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them , and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. TOPIC: MINISTRY OF HELPS (1)       The Apostles, prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and teachers are basically focused on the ministry of word and prayer. They need assistance for them to get the job done effectively and God made provision for it through the ministry of helps.           The church number increases and the Apostles were getting distracted from the main purpose and focus of preaching the gospel and praying. They decided to select seven deacons who will be in charge of serving people at the table. The ministry of helps is not limited to Deacons alone but every other ministry that help in making the ministry of the word and prayer effective such as music ministry, children ministry, Youth ministry and so on Prayer: Father let your church be what you want it to be i

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD WEDNESDAY 20TH OCTOBER,2021 TEXT: Ephesians 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; TOPIC: MINISTRY GIFTS - TEACHERS         The ministry gift of teaching is ability to explain deep truths of the scripture to believers in such a way that they will understand regardless of their age.          Jesus taught his disciples when he was with them. Paul also taught in some of the churches he founded, Apollo was another gifted teacher who taught the Corinth Church. The role of teacher is to teach new believers truth that will make them deep in faith and God. Without teachers new believers cannot grow in the knowledge of God.          Teachers have divine insights into the word of God and teach under the anointing and guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is usually an itinerant ministry except if the carrier of the gift posseses a pastoral gift. In most cases all pastors are teachers but not all teachers are

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD TUESDAY 19TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: Ephesians 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; TOPIC: MINISTRY GIFTS - PASTORS            The ministry of pastor is to feed the members of the church with the sound word of God, guidance and instructions to the Church.                  Paul comnisioned people as pastors in the church he founded and his instructions to them was to provide leadership for them. Without pastors to nurture and build up the souls that have been brought in by the evangelists, the souls may not grow up in the knowledge of God. Pastors today are expected to teach people the whole counsel of God and provide leadership for the church.            Pastors are good administrators, with the chief role of ensuring that their flock are doing well and growing in the Lord. To function in the pastoral ministry, one need to be called into it , having administration gifts is not enough but you need

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD  MONDAY 18TH OCTOBER 2021  TEXT: Ephesians 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; TOPIC: MINISTRY GIFTS - EVANGELISTS           The ministry gift of evangelism is to populate the kingdom of God. The evangelist draw people into the church by witnessing to them. The Holy Spirit accompanys him, he does the witnessing and the Holy Spirit does the conversion. The gift of miracles, healing, faith , word of knowledge usually back up the ministry of Evangelist.          Philip was an Evangelist. He knew this and his focus was telling people about Christ. His evangelistic efforts was fruitful in Samaria and also in the conversion of the Ethiopian. Not all that evangelises or witnesses are evangelist. It takes the call and anointing of God to operate in that office. The evangelists are crucial in church planting and growing of the Church. To be a prophet you have to be called into it and the prophetic gifts such as word of knowledge, word of wisdom, discerning of spirits, prophecy, interpretation of tongues and speaking in tongues are tools to work in the office of a prophet.         Being a prophet is beyond seeing visions and prophesying. Prophet can either be foretelling or forth telling. Foretelling are seers who see into the pasts or future  while forth tellers are majorly preachers of the word of God who declares the mind of God via preaching.        The work of prophet in this dispensation of Holy Spirit is different from the biblical times. The second set of Apostles are those that emerged after them, people like Paul, Barnabas who assisted in spreading the gospel to Asia, Europe and Northern Africa. The third generation of Apostles are the ones building on the existing work by establishing churches and ministries across the nation today.          The Apostles provide leadership over the churches they founded, they are majorly Teachers , prophets and evangelists with outstanding spiritual gifts that can make them fun

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD FRIDAY 15TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; TOPIC: MINISTRY GIFTS         The Holy Spirit did not only give the church spiritual gifts but also created offices where these spiritual gifts can be administered and use appropriately.          You may have have spiritual gifts but not a Ministry. Operating in a ministry requires a call and this is at Holy Spirit perogatory. There is a difference between been gifted and being called. Not all gifted people are called into ministry but we usually assume that having gifts is enough to operate in an office.         The Church in Corinth is the most gifted church among the churches Paul wrote to. Despite all the gifts, They only had a few people called into ministry among them. Ministry gifts is simply to administer , guide and lead the Church in such a way that everyone will have a role to play in the Church. The goal

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD THURSDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:10e  to another the interpretation of tongues: TOPIC : SPIRITUAL GIFTS - INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES  The gift of interpretation is the ability to interprete different kinds of tongues. At times a believer can speak in divers of tongues and still able to interprete what he is saying to others in a language they understand. Some people can speak in tongues but cannot interprete if such people speak in tongues in public, An interpreter can speak to interprete what is being said    Speaking in divers tongues edifies a believer and enable him to communicate in mysteries with God but it benefits the church if there is an interpreter. Speaking without interpreting does not benefit the church in public because nobody understands.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD WEDNESDAY 13TH OCTOBER,2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:10d  to another divers kinds of tongues;  TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS - SPEAKING IN DIFFERENT KINDS OF TONGUES To speak in tongues is to speak the language that heaven understand. It is deep communication with God as the spirit of God in you speaks out. Speaking in different kinds of tongues is ability to speak in different heavenly languages clearly and audibly. The Apostles spoke in diverse of tongues when the Holy Spirit came upon them and the people around them were marvelled. It was strange to them, thinking they were drunk with new wine.    All believers should speak in tongues but not all believers can speak in different tongues. Speaking in different tongues is a gift that manifest in prayers especially intercessory prayers for the church.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD TUESDAY 12TH OCTOBER,2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:10c   to another discerning of spirits;  TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS - DISCERNING OF SPIRITS           The discerning of spirits is a revelation gift. It is the ability to know what is right or wrong per time. It is not limited to knowing witches or occultic people or people that are bent on doing evil but disguised as friends. It is also ability to know the right opportunity, the right door and the right people you can relate with.               Joshua despite God's grace and anointing on him, he failed to discern that the Jebusites were not foreigners but neighbors who came under pretence and lies so that they can be saved. Peter and Andrew were able to discern that Jesus was the messiah and they followed him all the days of their lives.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD MONDAY OCTOBER 11 2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:10b to another prophecy;  TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS- PROPHECY           Prophecy is a spiritual gift that entails saying the mind of God as propel by the Holy Spirit.        Moses declared the mind of God to the children of Israel by telling them that their time of deliverance has come. Jonah declared the word of God to the people of Nineveh. Agabus declared that there would be famine.          Prophecy is not limited only to " thus says the LORD" . It is the mind of God in a situation, it is the word of God for us and prophecies are usually in harmony with the scriptures. If the prophecy contradict the word of God, it is not from God.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 10TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:10a To another the working of miracles;  SPIRITUAL GIFTS- MIRACLES      The working of miracles is a power gift that is active in the lives of God's children. Miracle is simply anything that contradict the natural laws and principles.           Jesus worked so many miracles while on earth, he walked on the waters, he fed 5000 people with 5 loaves of bread and two fishes. He rose the dead, he put new eyes where there were no eyes. Moses with his rod turned the red sea to dry ground and they walked on it. Elisha's bones came in contact with a dead body and the dead body rose again.           The spiritual gift of working miracles draw people into the Church, edifies the church and build up the church. The gift is strictly for advancement of the gospel and not commercialization of the gospel. God reward those who exercise this gift according to his will and not according to their selfish interests.  Prayer: 

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 9TH OCTOBER,2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:9b to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS- HEALING      The gift of healing is a power gift to heal people from all form of diseases. The gift of healing work together with the gift of faith. Carriers of the gift of healing are usually compassionate.      Jesus Christ healed all form of diseases that came his way during his ministry on earth. In all of Jesus's healing , we saw compassion in healing of invalid man of 38 years, and most of the people he healed usually have faith in God to be healed as seen in the healing of paralysed man brought to Jesus by his friends.             God can heal all diseases through his servant but at times he may choose not to. That does not mean that the gift of healing has expired in the life of his servant. It simply means God choose those to heal at his own mercies and sovereignty. Are you sick?  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD FRIDAY 8TH OCTOBER 2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:9  To another faith by the same Spirit;  TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS- FAITH        Faith is to have supernatural believe in God when it seems nothing can work out again. It is beyond an ordinary faith. It is the ability to have hope in an hopeless situation.        Jesus demonstrated this gift many times in his ministry. Notable among of them was during Lazarus death. They told him that he has been dead for four days but he believed that he was sleeping. Eventually he rose him up and they were all shocked.      Faith is holding on to God's word in any situation you find yourself no matter how deadly it may be. It is a gift of power that manifest in the lives of believers and it build up the church of Christ and stir it up to life challenges.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD THURSDAY 7TH OCTOBER, 2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:8b  to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS - WORD OF KNOWLEDGE          The word of knowledge is a gift of revelation that gives information on what has happened in the past. It is a prophetic gift and the carrier of the gift says it as he is prompted in the spirit without knowing the person or familiar with the situation he is talking about. At times too it can comes through a dream, vision or trance.          Jesus Christ displayed the gift of word of knowledge when witnessing to the Samaritan woman beside the well. He told her that she have had five husbands and the one she was staying with presently was not his husband. The woman was amazed, she believed and went round the city testifying about the man who told her everything about her life.           The operation of the word of knowledge edifies the church, strengthen the church, and build up the church of Christ.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD WEDNESDAY 6TH OCTOBER,2021 TEXT: 1st Corinthians 12:8a  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom;  TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS- WORD OF WISDOM        The word of wisdom is a message regards what will happen in the future. It is a gift of revelation. It works in such a way that the carrier of the gift have a supernatural knowledge of what will happen in years to come.      The manifestation of this gift can be in form of dreams as experienced by Pharaoh who had a dream of 7 thin cows swallowing 7 fat cows and 7 thin corns swallowing 7 fat corns. Joseph interpreted it as there would be seven years of abundance followed by seven years of famine. Time will not permit to explain how Elijah, Moses, Elisha, Jesus, Paul and Agabus displayed the gifts of the Word of knowledge.           Word of wisdom is a prophetic gift and its operation is very similar to word of knowledge but the major difference between the two is that word of wisdom reveal the future and word

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD TUESDAY OCTOBER 5TH 2021 TEXT: 1Co 12:4  There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS (2)           The gifts of the Spirit are numerous and it work in different ways. The amazing thing is that the gifts are from one Spirit.           The spiritual gifts are meant to complement each other and not to compete with each other. The gifts are used for different services but all to the same God.            Your spiritual gift is basically to benefit the church. It is not to show off or to compete with others in the church. God is the giver of gifts and he will hold us accountable on how we use it while on earth. Prayer: Father help me to serve you with my spiritual gifts in Jesus name.

TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS (1)       The gifts of the Spirits are many and Holy Spirit gives it to believers as he please him.There is no believer with not at least one spiritual gift.       Many are ignorant of spiritual gifts and this is really affecting the work of ministry God have placed in their hands. God do not want us to be ignorant of his gifts that he have given us. It becomes necessary to put it to use so that it can benefit the church, God and you.         Discover the spiritual gifts God have placed in you today by reflecting on your spiritual life and journey.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 3RD OCTOBER 2021 TEXT:Eph 4:8  This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men." TOPIC: THE HOLY SPIRIT (7)              The Holy Spirit is generous and out of his free will he give gift to men for the work of the ministry.Ministering without gifts is a difficult and frustrating task .
