Topic: standing on your decision with God
Text: Daniel 3:8-28
Memory verse: but even if he does not, we want you to know, o king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold that you have set up. Daniel 3:18
Decisions making are inevitable in our walk with the Lord. To follow Christ or become a Christian we make decisions. Our going far with the Lord depends on how serious and committed we are to our decisions
Sometimes ago during the persecution of the church, a man was about to be burnt at stake but he was given an option to deny Christ and he would be spared. After a while, the man could not withstand it and he denied Christ. As this event was going on, a Roman soldier was watching, he saw angels with crown ready to receive this man into eternity, as the man denied Christ, the soldier ran into the place and said I am a Christian and am ready to die for my faith.
Are you ready to stick to your decision of following God in midst of death, trials, pains and persecution? The three Hebrew said even if the Lord will not save us we will not bow. Your decision is not a decision until you are ready to die and suffer for your decision. It is in this the Lord is glorified. Heaven is your home whatever your challenges here on earth God is able to take you home if you will not turn your back on him.
Prayer: Lord help me to stick to my decision of following you for the rest of my life in Jesus name
