TOPIC: BENEFITS OF DWELLING IN GOD’S PRESENCE       The 91st Psalm is one of the most popular songs of David. David sang it during his critical moments of life. It is often regarded as a Psalm of protection. Some have weaponised it as a tool of spiritual defence and can recite it offhand. As powerful Psalm 91st may be, you may not enjoy its full benefits if you do not have a connection with the almighty God. You can only be with God for you to enjoy the presence of God. The essence of Jesus’s death and resurrection was to dwell us closer to the father.             Do you have relationship with Jesus? Have you confessed him as your Lord? TOPIC: THE POWER OF SPOKEN WORDS          Words are important in the world. The earth was formed by words and everything in it. Everything God creates hear words. Words are very potent and nothing comes to existence without it. Likewise words can also bring destruction and death. When things go wrong, speak words to make it right, when you are in a deadly situation, speak life to it. The efficacy of spoken words depend on who is speaking.            The scripture says whoever believes , rivers of life shall flow through his belly. Words in the tongue of a believer are life, As you rise in the morning, look at the mirror, begin to create your day with spoken words and it is just matter of time whatever you decree shall come to pass.  DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD TEXT: JOB 31:1 I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman. TOPIC: HAVE YOU MADE COVENANT WITH YOUR EYES?        The eye is one of the five sense Organs. Without eyes, the world is physically blind and it is a very crucial organ in the body that we cannot do without while on this earth. As good as the eyes are, it can also be a gateway to lust and immoral lifestyle if you are not disciplined. Everything the eye see, the mind will process it and there will be a great desire to have it. Not every thing you see with your eyes is beneficial to your body.        In the text if today, Job said that he have made covenant with his eyes and why should he look lustfully upon a woman. This was a man that the world was at his feet, he had wealth, could have as many young women as possible as wives and concubines. God gives us brain and a functioning mind to solve problems on our own. Not all things you expect God to do. Humans made cars, trains , helicopter, Aeroplane, ships to ease movement. The power behind great inventions we have today is positive thinking. Necessity is the mother of invention. As needs arise, men are thinking on how to meet their needs and it result into great inventions.       God can do all things but he will not do what he has given you power to do. It is like mocking him when you have a functioning body,right state of mind, you refuse to work and you are praying to God for daily bread. God said he has given you power to make wealth. TOPIC: LESSONS FROM THE GOOD SHEPHERD (6)          The welfare and well being of the sheep lies in the hands of the good shepherd. The shepherd ensures their safety, provision and well being. The sheep knows what the shepherd is capable of. They recognise his voice and he calls them by name. There is complete trust in the abilities of the Shepherd. No sheep will have access to this benefits and want to stray away from the presence of the good shepherd.        Confidently the psalmist declare that goodness and mercy shall follow him all the days of his life and dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
