Beware of false teachers (2)

TUESDAY 25TH MARCH,2025

TEXT: Acts 20:28-30

[28]Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

[29]For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

[30]Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.TOPIC: BEWARE OF FALSE TEACHERS (2)

    The false teachers are not strange to the church. They used to be believers with sound doctrine but stray away from the path of the truth. The greatest threat to the early church after persecution are false teachers.

     Paul warned the church he established against false teachers who he knew beforehand that they would come to indoctrinate them with wrong ideas. These false teachers are charismatic and courageous. They distort the truth , create confusion and draw people to their side with logical arguments. Be careful of them and do not grant them audience .

Prayer : Father help me not to be prey of false teacher in Jesus name

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God.
