SET NOT YOUR HEART ON RICHES

TEXT: Psalms 62:10

[10]Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

TOPIC: set not your heart on riches

   The power to make wealth is from God, he want us to prosper in all ways and excel. He do not want us to put confidence in our wealth and make it our God.

   Idolising wealth and riches attracts God’s anger. It is natural for heart to be set on riches when it increases but as believers we should rather set our heart on God. Believers are expected to use their riches to expand the kingdom of God by allowing Jesus to lord over their wealth and riches. If you set your heart on riches, it will fail you when you need it most. Only Christ will not fail you.

Prayer : Father help me not to set my heart on riches but on you in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
