TEXT: Genesis 15:18

[18]In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

TOPIC: JOURNEY OF PURPOSE (3)

       The journey of purpose is usually initiated by God and it is on him to ensure that it ends well. As a result of this it is usually accompany with a covenant. Covenant becomes necessary so as to give assurance to the other party that the journey will ends well.

       Abraham's relationship with God was marked with covenant. It was a covenant relationship. God keeps assuring him that all his promises to him will be fulfilled. God never walks with a man without a covenant to back the relationship up. God’s covenant is an evidence that what he says will be done. Before a relationship can reaches a covenant level, it requires a lot of commitment and time. Crave for a deep relationship with God, seek him with all your heart and you will find him.

Prayer: Father help me to seek you all the days of my life in Jesus name.

Move on

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 11TH MAY, 2025 TEXT: Exodus 14:15 [15]And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: TOPIC: MOVE ON      Fear is an enemy of progress. It have a way of stagnating people and the only way you can overcome it is to confront it. Face your fears, you face your fears by taking actions regards the situation. If you are afraid of driving, dare to drive a car. If you are afraid of swimming, dare to swim.       In our text, the only way they had to confront their fears was to move on. It was when they took steps of faith by moving on that God told Moses to stretch a rod and the sea parted while they walked away through the red sea, and the red sea consumed their enemies. Text: 2 kings 2:19-22   The city of Jericho was pleasant, beautiful, well located but everything planted on the land was not productive hence the land was barren.
