TEXT: Exodus 31:1-6

[1]And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

[2]See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

[3]And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

[4]To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

[5]And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

[6]And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;

TOPIC: ORDAINED FOR A PURPOSE (2)

        God knows the end from the beginning. Talents are like treasure which must be discovered and put to use. God does not give you talents, potentials, gifts for nothing. There is a purpose for it. One may not understand the purpose but in the process of time it will become clear

       Bezaleel and Aholiab would be surprised when Moses called them out for a work God has ordained them to do. God knew at a specific time there would be a need for their gifts and talents and he have deposited it in them. The men were also diligent in discovering their gifts and put it to use. They did not know the purpose but they were found skilful and professional at it which shows that they have taken their time to develop their talents and gifts. Their preparation met opportunities. Some have gifts but were lazy to put it into work and develop it so when their time come, they fail because they were not prepared. Talent is not enough, you have to put it work, develop it and wait for your time.

Prayer: Father help me not to waste your investment and resources on my life in Jesus name
