 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

MONDAY 20TH JANUARY, 2025

TEXT: John 10:1-5

[1]Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

[2]But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

[3]To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

[4]And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

[5]And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

TOPIC: KNOWING GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE (3)

         The purpose of God is the mind of God for you while on earth. It is the reason behind your existence. To get to know the mind of God for your life, you have to have an intimacy with God. Without a deep relationship with God, it is hard for you to discern his will and mind for your life. Others may tell you this is what God is saying for your life but you need constant direction to fulfill purpose. Purpose may be discern but it takes your acquaintance with God to fulfill it.

         The Scripture says the sheep hear the voice of the shepherd, the shepherd knows them by name and lead them out. The journey of purpose requires you walking with the LORD steadily, knowing his voice and total obedience to it. You can’t walk alone to fulfill purpose. You need God to order your steps and instruct you the way you should go. To know God’s purpose, you have to ask him his plans and thoughts about you . Knowing his plans is not enough but willingness to obey him completely as he leads.

Prayer: Father help me to walk in your plans for my life in Jesus name

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God.
