 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

SATURDAY 18TH JANUARY, 2025

TEXT: Luke 4:16-21

[16]And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

[17]And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

[18]The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

[19]To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

[20]And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

[21]And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

TOPIC : KNOWING GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE (1)

        The question of what is God’s purpose for my life is not the question you usually get an answer to instantly. Sometimes it involves you acquainting yourself to God, getting to know him, having a relationship with him, walking with him and fully engage in serving him.

       Jesus is also God while on earth, he was aware of his purpose, he knew his purpose and what he was destined for . He did not jump into his purpose, he followed processes before he began what he was destined to do. Jesus was always at the temple, it was his custom, he had access to the Torah and other Hebrew literature. He was well learned and in the course of that , he knew what was written about him. To know your purpose, you have to give yourself to reading, seek for knowledge in the confinement of Gods presence and it will be clear to you what actually God wants you to do.

Prayer: Father reveal to me what you want me to do for you in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.

The LORD is in his sanctuary (3)

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 4TH MAY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:20 [20]But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him. TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God.
