How to hear the voice of God (1)

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 1ST 2025

TEXT: 1 Samuel 3:3-5,7-9

[3]And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;

[4]That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.

[5]And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

[7]Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.

[8]And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

[9]Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

TOPIC: HOW TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD (1)

       God speaks to us but only few can hear him. We are created in God’s image, God speaks, communicates and relates. Right from the beginning God wants to fellowship with men. Hearing from God starts from having a personal relationship with God. You need to get to know him first.

     Samuel had been in temple since he was weaned. He had a personal relationship with God. He was trained as a priest and always ministering in the temple. In the course of doing this, God knew his name, God saw his services and noted him as someone he could walk with and trust. Did you desire to hear from God, create more time to fellowship with God in attending a church and giving yourself to work of God there.

Prayer: Father help me to relate with you and desire more of you in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God.
