The favour of God

TEXT: Luke 1:30

[30]And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

TOPIC: FAVOUR OF GOD

          The favour of God is at God’s volition. He single out people for favour which is beyond people comprehension. The favour of God makes hard work productive and rewarding. Nothing good happens without the favour of God. Blessings are product of God’s favour.

          The angel pronounced Mary as a blessed woman because she has found favour with God. She was not the only virgin on earth then but favour located her. She was singled out for blessings and no where will the story of Christ be told without mentioning Mary. Nothing was recorded in the Scripture to ascertain the reason why she was favoured. Favour of God do not have qualifications. God bestowed it on anyone he wants. You can only align yourself and position yourself in his will for your life. Gods favour will only locate you in his own time and where you are destined to be.

Action point: God’s favour is not usually merited but you can attract it if you are in God’s presence.

Prayer: Father single me out for uncommon blessings in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God.
