WEDNESDAY 11TH DECEMBER, 2024

TEXT: Matthew 2:20,22

[20]Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.

[22]But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

TOPIC: THE BLESSINGS OF GOD’S GUIDANCE (2)

        Guidance from God does not always mean that it will be easy. It was not convenient for Joseph to relocate from Bethlehem to Egypt. Obedience to God’s leading can make you look stupid initially but in the end it makes sense , people around you will see you as a wise person. Situations and circumcision cannot limit God, he uses it as tools to guide and direct us to our destined location where our blessings and protection are certain.

         In the text, God didn’t allow Joseph to go back until those seeking his life for death were no more. Either their stay was comfortable or hard there, they obeyed God completely till he led them out. In Judea again, when Joseph thought all has been figured out, Son of Herod was reigning, at that point he was afraid, God intervened, he left the city and moved to the outskirt of the city. Unknown to Joseph, he was fulfilling destiny as God used the situation to orchestrate his movements to the right location where Jesus was destined to be raised up as written in the Scripture. Gods blessings and protection are tied to a location. God’s guidance will lead you to right location where he will bless and protect you. This will only be possible if you are willing to subject yourself to his leading and direction.

Action point: The guidance of God is not always easy but in the end you will be glad you tread on the path of his leading and obedience .

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God.
