He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

TOPIC: Lessons from the good shepherd (3)

The aim of the good shepherd by providing best pasture with still water is to ensure total well being of the sheep. This will rejuvenate , restores and refresh their body. The good shepherd also ensures that he carves out a path that is free of destruction where you are assure that no danger can occur suddenly.

There are enough troubles in the world which can makes our heart to worry and constant worry weakens our heart and soul. God is aware of it and that is the purpose of you making him the shepherd of your soul. If you gives him the total control of your life, you are rest assured that he will refresh your soul and lead you through path of righteousness. Just as the sheep trust the leadership of the good shepherd. Trust completely In God and he will constantly refreshes and restores your soul from the cares and anxieties of this world.

Action point: True comfort and refreshing of the soul can be found in Christ alone.

Prayer: Father refreshes my soul and order my stepping you alone in Jesus name.
