 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

TEXT : Esther 4: 1-17

TOPIC : STEWARDSHIP OF INFLUENCE (3)

KEY VERSE Esther 4:16

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Stewardship of influence is rising to act on behalf of the course of your people even when you are not directly affected by their situation. It is speaking out and identifying with your people in crucial time of need.

Esther was a Queen in the nation where her people were enslaved and her people were about to be exterminated by a satanic edict. Mordecai explained the situation of things to her. Esther replied him that it would be a deadly task for her to seek the king's favour without being invited. His uncle was courageous to tell her that if she did not rise to the plight of her people. She may not be saved and help would rise from God . Esther found herself in a dilemma but eventually She chose to use her influence to save her people from killings at the detriment of her life when she could have kept quiet.

If you fail to use your influence to save people in moment of great need, You have disappointed God who placed you there and he will raise help from other places for them. God will ask you on how you use that position of influence? It is better not to be in a place of influence than to be there without any impact on the lives God have attached to your destiny. Have you been using that  position wrongly? Repent now because the day of reckoning is near.

Prayer : Father help me to be a good steward of your influence in Jesus name.
