TO YOUR KNOWLEDGE ADD TEMPERANCE

Daily insight with God 
SUNDAY 19th July, 2020 
Text: 2 Peter 1:6
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and  to patience godliness 
Topic: To your knowledge add temperance
   Faith in God is not static, you have to make concious efforts to grow in the knowledge of Christ so that you can be effective and productive. One of the ways to grow is to add temperance to your knowledge. 
The addition does not come automatically, it requires moral discipline which requires self control. It is hard work to subject self to control. Self want to shows off, self is proud, self is arrogant and the only way to put self under control is obedience to Holy Spirit. Concious efforts to do what the Holy Spirit says will put self under checks.
Prayer : Father help me to be diligent in putting the self under checks and control in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God.
