The necessity of the Lord's supper

Topic: The necessity of Lord's supper.
Text : Luke 22 :7- 19
Golden Text : " This is my body given for you;do this in remembrance of me."
The Lord's supper is very critical in Christian worship and testimonies abound of healing, deliverance, confession, repentance, commitment and dedication of lives to christ that have taken place during Celebration of the Lord's supper.
Jesus had the last passover with his disciples and seized the opportunity to explain the significance of his death by breaking the bread which represents his body that he offered for the sins of the world, the wine which represents his blood shed to take away sins of humanity and the seal of the new covenant. He was simply telling them that blood of animals will no longer be valid in taking away sins but my blood alone will now be sufficient when I offer my body via death.
The Lord's supper should not be taken ignorantly but with thanksgiving to God who offered Christ to died for our sins and with commitment to Christ not to make a vain of his death but by living a life that pleases him.
Prayer: Lord Jesus help me to be conscious that my salvation cost you your life in my walk with you in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality.
