Topic: A man after God's heart
Text: 1 Samuel 16 : 8-13
Golden text: Then the LORD said, " rise and anoint him ; he is the one." 1 Samuel 16:12b
  A man once prayed I don't want to be the best but I want to be the preferred. The best at times don't usually get the offer but the preferred.
   Eliab who seemed to be the best and qualified for the position did not get the anointing to be the king but a little Shepherd who was inexperienced about battles and wars. God's ways are different from ours, humans are short sighted, we cannot see beyond where we are but God is all sighted. He can see the end from the beginning, God is in search for a man after his own heart, a man who has regard for him, a man who honors him, a man with a heart of flesh, because a man with God can do extraordinary. The search was completed when God himself identified David  as  the man he wanted for the job. The identification came with a command. And Samuel had no choice than to anoint his. Do you too want to be preferred among others, draw closer to God today and be a man after his own heart.
Prayer: Lord help me to draw closer to you so that I can be a man after your own heart in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
