Topic: Uriah - a faithful and dedicated soldier.
Text: 2 Samuel 11: 6-25
Golden text : shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? As thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing. 2 Samuel 11:11
 Faithfulness and dedication are values that are rare and only a few men display such a trait. Uriah was one of a kind who was so loyal and dedicated to his country that he sacrificed his comforts for the betterment of his country. Two different things, a king who supposed to be on a battle field was relaxing and having fun at home whereas a soldier called back home from war fronts to enjoy his wife could not even relax but his mind was on the battlefield.
   His loyalty and dedication to God and his country saved him from having bastard as a child. David was so amazed about his dedication that he had to arrange his death because that was the only way to cover his sin. Uriah died the death of a hero and God saw to it that such a loyal and dedicated soldier did not die just like that. Loyalty and dedication is a virtue we must imbibe if our nation will grow and develop at all fronts.
Prayer: Lord Jesus help me to be loyal and dedicated to my God and my country in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
