Topic: One good turn deserves another.
Text: 2 Samuel 2: 4-7
Golden text: May the LORD now show you kindness and faithfulness and I too will show you the same favour because you have done this. 2 Samuel 2:6
  A story was told of some students who were looking for water during dry season, on getting to a place to their amazement an old man welcomed them in, allowed them to fetch water and gave them privilege to fetch water at all times. Years roll on, one of the students was a director in a company, in the process of interviewing a job seeker, he discovered that the man was the son of the old man who used to give them water while in school. He was happy and eventually gave the man job who had been looking for job for several years.
  The men of Jabesh Gilead put their lives into risk, attacked the Philistines, took the body of Saul and his sons and gave him a befitting burial. What could have made the men of Jabesh Gilead did that? Forty years ago Saul rescued the men of Jabesh from Nahash the ammonite who had enslaved them. Saul could have died like a dog but his good deeds saved him from such a disgraceful death.
    Make doing good your hobby because one day it will save you from disgrace. When you do good, you are crediting your account and when it is time it shall pay you greatly because you will receive it back with interest from God.
Prayer:Lord help me to do good at all times in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
