Move on

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 11TH MAY, 2025 TEXT: Exodus 14:15 [15]And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: TOPIC: MOVE ON      Fear is an enemy of progress. It have a way of stagnating people and the only way you can overcome it is to confront it. Face your fears, you face your fears by taking actions regards the situation. If you are afraid of driving, dare to drive a car. If you are afraid of swimming, dare to swim.       In our text, the only way they had to confront their fears was to move on. It was when they took steps of faith by moving on that God told Moses to stretch a rod and the sea parted while they walked away through the red sea, and the red sea consumed their enemies. Sometimes you just need to move on by changing a job, changing a habit or changing a location. Until you move on, help may not come. Prayer: Father give me the grace to move on where and wh...

Do not be afraid

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD TUESDAY 6TH MAY, 2025 TEXT: Exodus 14:13 [13]And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. TOPIC: DO NOT BE AFRAID              There are situations that are terrific and it takes intentional efforts not to be afraid. What we see have a way of making us to be afraid. No matter how big your problem may be, remember God is bigger than them all. Looking at your problem will make you to be afraid but when you look at God alone, you will have the courage and strength to move on. Fear had gripped the Israelites on seeing the host of Egyptian army following them. Moses had to encourage them not to be afraid but rather be still as they look on to God . Fear will make you to complain, murmur but when you are still within your spirit , God will give you a word for you...

STAND FIRM IN FAITH

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD MONDAY 5TH MAY,2025 TEXT: Isaiah 7:9 [9]And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established. TOPIC: STAND FIRM IN FAITH              The life of a believer is synonymous to a journey on a rugged road. It is full of ups and downs. If you do not stand firm in Christ, you will not stand at all. Oppositions will come from those who are dearest to you, those you called friends may forsake you when you need them most and things may not go as planned. In all stand firm in your faith in God. King Ahaz was faced with a serious battle strong enough to waste him. His closest neighbour allied with enemies to waste him and his country men. The word of God came to him that he should not be afraid and what he feared will not happen. The word of God for you today is to stand firm in God, believe God for his words and it shall be well with you and your f...

The LORD is in his sanctuary (3)

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 4TH MAY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:20 [20]But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him. TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. When there is expectations, it shows you have faith that God is in his temple and you are sensitive to his movements by being silence before God. God speaks right from the beginning of the Church s...

THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (2)

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 3RD MAY, 2025 TEXT: Isaiah 6:1-4 [1]In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. [2]Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. [3]And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. [4]And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY ( 2)           It is often said that the people are the church and not the actual building. This is very true but if the building is not important why dedicating it? Without the building, it will be difficult to gather together as a church. The church building is very important and it needs to be treated with sacredness. It is a place of worship. Gods pre...

THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD FRIDAY 2ND MAY,2025 TEXT: Isaiah 6:1-4 [1]In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. TOPIC:THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (1)             God is present everywhere. That is one of his attributes, and he inhabits in his temple, his presence is always available there but only few sees him. When you see God, worship will takes place. A church should not be a place where you need to coerce or encourage people to worship God. Worship should take place seamlessly but this does no...

LET YOUR LIFE MEET GOD'S EXPECTATIONS.

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD THURSDAY MAY 1ST, 2025 TEXT: Isaiah 5:1-7 [1]Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: [2]And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. [3]And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard. [4]What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes? [5]And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: [6]And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there sha...

IT IS WELL WITH THE RIGHTEOUS

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD WEDNESDAY 30TH APRIL,2025 TEXT: Isaiah 3:10 [10]Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. TOPIC: IT IS WELL WITH THE RIGHTEOUS           The righteous are the ones who choose and prioritize God above all. They are redeemed, the righteousness of Christ is in them and they are sold out for God. The judgment of God was fierce on the land as a result of the evil doings of the people. In the midst of chaos, crises, political instabilities, economic depression, hardships, God’s word for the righteous is that it shall be well with him. It is an assurance that their good living will pay off and God will take care of them. Do not join the multitude to do evil, do not compromise, God is reassuring you that your righteousness will pay off if you do not give up. Prayer: Father help me to hold on to you regardless of situations around me in Jesus name.

YOUR WINE SHALL NOT BE MIXED WITH WATER

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD TUESDAY 29TH APRIL ,2025 Isaiah 1:22b [22] thy wine mixed with water: TOPIC: YOUR WINE SHALL NOT BE MIXED WITH WATER        Wine is good and it is usually attached to celebration and joy. An event is not complete without wine. It is a symbol of merriment and joy. Marriage and homes are synonymous to wine. The beginning is usually sweet but it takes great efforts for it to remain sweet. For the marriage to remain like fresh wine, couples need to be intentional by not mixing it with the water. What are the waters that render the wine tasteless. They are unforgiveness, bitterness, infidelity, disagreements, strives, third parties and many more. When water mixes with wine, gradually it begin to lose its taste till it becomes tasteless. And when it becomes tasteless, it becomes toxic and the home eventually breaks up. Get away the water from the wine and your wine shall remain fresh again. Prayer: Father heal every broken home an...

OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD MONDAY 28TH APRIL,2025 TEXT: Isaiah 1:11,13,15-19 [11]To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? Saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. [13]Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. [15]And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. [16]Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; [17]Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. [18]Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, ...

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 27TH APRIL,2025 TEXT: Isaiah 1:18 [18]Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. TOPIC: REASON WITH GOD        God is understanding, he knows you , he knows your struggle with sins, nothing about you is hidden to him and that is why he is able to help you If you can draw closer to him. THE REBELLIOUS CHILDREN

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 26TH APRIL,2025 TEXT: Isaiah 1:2-3 [2]Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. [3]The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. TOPIC: THE REBELLIOUS CHILDREN         God is a father to all who have acknowledged Jesus as the LORD and Saviour of their lives. He is not always happy when his children decide to deviate from his ways and choose their own path. Just like it saddens a father who laboured so much in raising up his own children and the children chose to abandon him by cutting off communication with him. Even animals find it difficult to stray away from their homes and acknowledge their master. For humans, it is different. God is calling out all his children who have rebelled against him. Have you strayed away, give it a thought today and repent before it is...

THE FORCE OF LOVE

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD FRIDAY 25TH APRIL,2025 TEXT: Song of Solomon 2:7 [7]I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please. TOPIC: THE FORCE OF LOVE.             Love is a force of attraction between two or more people. Some have described it as strong feelings towards another. The romantic love otherwise known as Eros in Greek that exists between male and female in a relationship is a strong bond that come with feelings, it intoxicates and make you do things naturally you will not do. Sometimes it blinds your eyes to realities. As strong as it is, it is not enough to keep marriage. In marriage eyes are opened to realities and it now requires ability of you to adjust , understand each other and make it work together.         The writer of Song of songs warn expressly three times in this book not to awake love or stir up love until it is...

GUARD AGAINST FOXES

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD THURSDAY 24TH APRIL, 2025 TEXT: Song of Solomon 2:15 [15]Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. TOPIC: GUARD AGAINST FOXES              Marriage is originally designed to be enjoyed and be a blessing to an adult male and adult female. One of the duties of the husband is to protect the wife and children against foxes that spoil the vine. When Marriage is under the attack of foxes, the children suffer most as they are the tender grapes that need to be protected and ripe enough to stand on their own. It becomes necessary to guard against foxes because their mission is to attack the vine and eat up the tender grapes.           The writer of Song of Solomon described Marriage as a vine with tender grapes. It is sad that some homes have been destroyed by foxes. These foxes are little and when not dealt with they become foxes that destroy the vine com...

KEEP YOUR OWN VINEYARD

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD WEDNESDAY 23RD APRIL, 2025 TEXT: Song of Solomon 1:6 [6]Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept. TOPIC: KEEP YOUR OWN VINEYARD       Life comes with commitment and responsibilities. You have to take charge of your life or else someone will control it for you. Take responsibilities for your life, career, choices, marriage because at the end when you will be alone, you will be glad and not regret that others have made critical choices for you out of your own will.    It is an habit of some to be bothered , concerned and focus on others while they abandoned their own lives. These set of people will give you good counsel but will not take advice. These are fathers that will be good men outside with good reputation but they have abandoned their responsibilities at home. They are always ther...

Do you love Jesus?

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD TUESDAY 22ND APRIL,2025 TEXT: John 21:13-17 [13]Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. [14]This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. [15]So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. [16]He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. [17]He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. TOPIC: DO YOU LOVE JESUS?         It is easy to say I love Jesus bu...

ON THE ROAD TO EMMAUS

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD MONDAY 21ST APRIL, 2025 TEXT: Luke 24:13-32 [13]And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. [14]And they talked together of all these things which had happened. [15]And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. [16]But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. [17]And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? [18]And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? [19]And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: [20]And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemne...

THE UNSTOPPABLE RESURRECTION

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SUNDAY 20TH APRIL,2025 TEXT: Matthew 27:63-64,66, Matthew 28:11-15,17 [11]Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. [12]And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, [13]Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. [14]And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. [15]So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. [17]And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. [63]Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. [64]Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the ...

[44]And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. [45]And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph. [46]And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre. THE CROWD "FAILED " JESUS

DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD FRIDAY 18TH APRIL, 2025 TEXT: MARK 15: 6-15 6Now it was the custom at the festival to release a prisoner whom the people requested. 7 A man called Barabbas was in prison with the insurrectionists who had committed murder in the uprising. 8 The crowd came up and asked Pilate to do for them what he usually did. 9 “Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate, 10 knowing it was out of self-interest that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him. 11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have Pilate release Barabbas instead. 12 “What shall I do, then, with the one you call the king of the Jews?” Pilate asked them. 13 “Crucify him!” they shouted. 14 “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!” 15 Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. TOPIC: THE CROWD ” FAILED” JESUS       ...
