Overcoming Addiction (4)

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

WEDNESDAY 12TH MARCH,2025

TEXT: Isaiah 49:24-25

[24]Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

[25]But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

TOPIC: OVERCOMING ADDICTION (4)

         Salvation in Christ gives the captive authority to confront the mighty called addiction. At the mention of the name of Jesus, the mighty will fall and he will loose his holds. The prey will become the master and keep exercising his authority in Christ over the addiction.

      The desire to smoke, drink, or still indulge in that addiction will still be there but the Spirit of God in you will empower you to say No and gradually the addiction will finally loose its hold. The mighty will not fall just like that, he will keep coming and each time he comes resist him by the name of Jesus.

Prayer: Every Spirit of addiction to sin loose your hold over my life in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
