SATURDAY 29TH MARCH,2025

TEXT:1 Samuel 20:16-18,41-42

[16]So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require it at the hand of David’s enemies.

[17]And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul.

[18]Then Jonathan said to David, To morrow is the new moon: and thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty.

[41]And as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of a place toward the south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.

[42]And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of the LORD, saying, The LORD be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever. And he arose and departed: and Jonathan went into the city.

TOPIC: COVENANT PARTNERS (1)

      No man is an island. We need one another to fulfil purpose on earth and one of the precious gifts you can give yourself is a good friend. There is a friend that stick closer than a brother. Such friendships are called covenant partners. David found a friend in Jonathan. Their friendship blossomed and they became covenant partners. At a point David covenanted with Jonathan and affirmed to him that in as much he is alive nothing of him will suffer.

         David had opportunities to wipe all the generations of Saul but he preserved Jonathan’s lineage even at a point when seven sons of Saul was executed as a sacrifice to appeal the Gibeonites. He also remembered his covenant with David when he invited Mephiboseth to the palace and made him a resident at the Palace who also dined with him and made people to serve him. Covenant partners is the climax of friendship relationships and we do not have friends until they become covenant partners.

Prayer: Father give me good friends that will become covenant partners in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
