The finger of God (1)

SATURDAY 23rd FEBRUARY, 2024

TEXT: Exodus 8:17-19

Daniel 5:5

[5]In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

TOPIC: THE FINGER OF GOD (1)

     God reigns in the affairs of men and he is not usually happy when his name is ridiculed, dragged or humiliated. When you look down on his servants or humiliate them or make them a subject of mock, it does not always end well because his finger will appear against such people .

        The king became so proud and ordered that he wanted to use temple vessels which has been dedicated for use in the household of God to drink wine. God was very angry with him because he ridiculed his temple in the presence of his fellow pagans. A finger appeared with a message that his kingdom shall be divided and that same day he died. Do not toy with sacred things, if it is sacred, honour God that makes it sacred, do not desecrate Whatever is of God, doing that may attract the finger of God against you.

Prayer: Father let your finger appear against anyone mocking your name in my life in Jesus name.

The LORD is in his sanctuary (3)

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
