LET GOD BE YOUR ROCK

TEXT: Psalms 62:2

[2]He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

TOPIC: LET GOD BE YOUR ROCK

Rock used to be a place of safety in the ancient times. Holes are hewn in the rock, and people hide themselves inside during war. Hardly can danger get near to those that are inside the rock. The psalmist used the rock which his audience were familiar with to illustrate how God’s safety is.

      If you make God your rock, you will not be mover by the dangers and negativities happening around you. You are assured of God’s protection at all times. Have you found Jesus? Did you have a fellowship with him? Did he knows you by name? If yes, be rest assured that your life and everything about you is secured regardless of occurrences around you.

Prayer: Father you are my rock and defence in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
