How to hear the voice of God (3)

MONDAY 3RD FEBRUARY, 2025

TEXT: 1 Samuel 3:9-10

[9]Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

[10]And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

TOPIC : HOW TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD (3) 

           Many people are willing to hear the voice of God but only a few are willing to listen to what he wants to say. So many a times he speak to us just that we do not know that he is the one speaking. Not all times his call will follow the pattern of Samuel but one thing is evident, he speaks to vessels who are sanctified, worthy and willing to listen to what he have to say.

           Samuel demonstrated willingness to hear right from the moment God spoke once, twice by responding to his call , he rose up thrice to meet Eli and by the third time Eli knew by experience that it was God speaking. He listened attentively without interrupting God till he ended the conversation. Hearing the voice of God requires ability to exercise calmness, waiting upon him at all times in prayers, reading of scriptures, constantly fellowshipping with him and it’s just a matter of time, our ears will be in tune with his Spirit.

Prayer: Father help me to be a vessel of righteousness and willing to listen and do your will in Jesus name.

In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
