THE JOURNEY OF PURPOSE (1)

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

FRIDAY 24th JANUARY, 2025

TEXT: Genesis 12:1-4

[1]Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

[2]And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

[3]And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

[4]So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

TOPIC: THE JOURNEY OF PURPOSE (1)

Discovering and walking in purpose can be similar to a journey that is embark on. It starts from knowing God, having a relationship with him, recognising and knowing his voice. Waiting to get blue prints and map from God. Setting out to fulfill God’s will. All these processes does not happen in a day. Sometimes it takes years.

Abraham had embarked on the journey of purpose years back while his father was still alive, at a point he settled at Haran when his father died. At age seventy-five he embarked on the journey to cannan again when it appeared that it was too late but he was confident of what God have told him. It is never too late to start the journey of purpose if you are willing and determined to fulfill God’s will and purpose for your life.

Prayer: Father help me not to be weary in the journey to my purpose in Jesus name.
