Knowing God’s purpose for your life (2)

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

SUNDAY 19TH JANUARY, 2025

TEXT: Luke 4:16- 21

[16]And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

[18]The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

[19]To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

[20]And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

[21]And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

TOPIC: Knowing God’ purpose for your life (2)

God’s purpose is not hidden. Just like a manual that comes with a electronic device. Most times we feel so familiar with God that we have an impression, idea, thoughts that we can run our life without God until we get into trouble and start going back into manual to find out what is wrong.

Jesus prioritized God and his word above all other things while on earth. The Scripture was not made available to all at that time. It was locked in the temple under the custody of the Scribes and Pharisees. As a result of this, he made going to the temple his habit so he can study and read the Scripture. It was in the Scripture he discovered what was written about him. To know your life purpose, you have to prioritize God and his word, seek God with all your heart and give yourself to the Study of the word. The word will lighten your paths and give you a clear knowledge of what God want to make out of you.

Prayer: Father reveal your purpose for my life to me I Jesus name .
