An annihilated purpose

SATURDAY 11TH JANUARY, 2025

TEXT: 1 Kings 13:1 -26

Key verse: 1 kings 13 : 24

And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

TOPIC: AN ANNIHILATED PURPOSE

               The purpose of a man is his life's mission on earth. To identify your purpose and live your purpose on earth is not pleasing to all. Some are bent on destroying people who are living fulfilling lives just because they could not live their purpose, they do not want others to do it. It calls for prayer and wisdom to identify this set of people and stay away from them. One of these men was the old prophet, his children told him God had mightily use a young prophet and “he is presently the talk of the town” . The old prophet became bitter, the thoughts of “ why not me” might fill his heart because he was also a prophet too. He went after the young prophet, cooked up lies for him, fed him, made him disobey God and lion ended killing the young prophet and reduced him to carcases.

         The only mistake the young prophet made was declaring his purpose to the old prophet, he gave him too much information about his life assignment and trusted the fact that he was a prophet without knowing that God has left the old prophet who was no longer relevant in God’s agenda for that generation. The old Prophet manipulated him by using the information the young prophet gave him against him. Guard your purpose, it is not everyone you share your life assignments with and watch the association you keep. The young prophet did not have second chance, he was completely annihilated by a wild animal. Beware of people like old prophet and guard your purpose with all diligence.

Father deliver my purpose from destiny annihilators in Jesus name.

In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
