A TRUNCATED PURPOSE

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

FRIDAY 10TH JANUARY, 2024

TEXT:Genesis 37:2,18-20

[2]These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.

[18]And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.

[19]And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.

[20]Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

TOPIC: A TRUNCATED PURPOSE (1)

      The purpose of a man drives his destiny. A purpose driven man is a man of dreams and vision. He have a clear picture of where he is going in life. Purpose can be truncated when you make bad choices via the friends you walk with or choice of life partners, parental upbringing and environmental forces.

      Joseph purpose was truncated as a result of his choices to share his dreams with wrong people, associated with children of slaves who ganged up against him and incited his brothers against him. Joseph’s brothers plans were to terminate his destiny, purpose and dreams. Their plot was perfect and for thirteen years of Joseph’s life, he was humiliated, suffered and subjected to unnecessary troubles. If God had not come for him, nothing could have been heard of him but God was a step ahead of his detractors. Not everyone could be opportune like Joseph, to avoid truncated purpose, watch your choices and be mindful of who you share your life goals with.

Prayer : Father Arise and deliver from every plot to terminate my purpose and vision in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
