Understanding the virgin birth of Jesus

TEXT: Matthew 1:22-23

Matthew 1:22

[22]Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

[23]Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING THE VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS

The coming of Jesus was prophesied before his arrival. The writer of the gospel made reference to Isaiah 7:14 as an evidence or proof to his audience that truly Jesus fulfilled the Scripture. One of the most contested truths about Jesus is his virgin birth and his divinity. These are more debated than his miracles. The virgin birth was a mystery, the more you ponder about it, the less you see. It is a mystery that can not be unravelled. Christianity is full of mysteries, and you just have to accept the mysteries as they are without questioning it.

        The reason there is conflict between science and religion. Science want proofs, but how can you prove the virgin birth or the coming of God in human flesh. The Devil have attacked the mind of many Christians today just by making them to question the sacredness and mysteries that surround Christianity? The enemy appeal to their intellect and they slipped off. The virgin birth of Jesus is real and denying it simply means you do not have faith or believe in the divinity of Jesus which is one of the pivots of Christianity. Avoid discussion, teachers, books and thoughts that make you question the existence of Jesus , it is a seed if given room to germinate, it will swerve you from the truth, as knowledge increases in the last days, hold firmly to the truth.

Prayer : Father help me to hold on to your truth in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
