Understanding the divinity of Jesus

TEXT: Matthew 1:22-23

Matthew 1:22

[22]Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

[23]Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING THE DIVINITY OF JESUS

      The greatest mystery about Jesus and the most contended about scholars is that “Jesus is God” . The whole book of the gospel of John was written as a thesis with seven evidences to prove that Jesus is God who came into this world to rescue people from their sins and give them his life to live. John was addressing believers then who fell into the error that Jesus was not God and till today some believers still fall to that error.

        The writer of Matthew stated that the name of Jesus is Emmanuel meaning God is with us. God came as man to dwell with us. Till today, Jesus’s presence is still here and he identify with us in our pains, challenges and struggles. Nothing is impossible for God to do, whatever situation you are passing through, Jesus is right there with you, call on him and he will answer you.

Prayer: Father help me to know that you are with me at all times in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
