Think before you act

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

SATURDAY 28TH DECEMBER, 2024

TEXT: Matthew 1:19-20

[19]Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

[20]But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

TOPIC: THINK BEFORE YOU ACT

        It is natural for humans to act immediately they are confronted with unpleasant situations. Like Newton said Actions and reactions are equal and opposite. For every action there is always a reaction to it. Before you react when you hear unpleasant news about someone or you are faced with a slander. Take a breathe, relax and give it a thought. Thinking before acting can save your life or prevent you from making costly errors.

          Joseph had engaged Mary, had paid partially some of the dowries required and she had pledged to marry him. Joseph found her pregnant without having carnal knowledge of her. The immediate response was public outcry and the judgment was death by stoning. Joseph gave it a deep thought, he optioned for putting her off secretly. The Scripture recorded that he acted that way because he was a just man. Not all men would take that except those that fear God. God saw his heart and revealed to him what actually happened in the dream. Thinking before acting will save you from falling into the devil trap and also position you for generational blessings.

Prayer: Father help me to think before I react in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
