Seek God for the right reason

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

MONDAY 2ND DECEMBER, 2024

TEXT: John 6:26-27

[26]Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

[27]Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

TOPIC: SEEK GOD FOR THE RIGHT REASON.

          The motive is the driving force behind your conviction. So many people are following Jesus for the wrong reasons. You may be wrong If the reason for following Jesus is not to know him, fellowship with him, with the aim of becoming like him in deeds and action. If your reason for seeking God is right, you will find him and he will be everything to you

           Jesus confronted some of the multitude following him with wrong motives. Jesus fed them last night , early morning of the next day , they were out again looking for him with the purpose of having free breakfast. Just like today, people are going to church for many wrong seasons such as free food, jobs, connections, miracles, healing and many more. The only reason to seek Jesus is getting to know him as your Lord and having a relationship with him. Truths are hard, Jesus confronted the multitude with truths and many of them left Jesus reflect on your relationship with God, are you serving him for who he is or for what you want to benefit from him ?

Action point: serve God for the right reason

Prayer: Father help me to serve you with the right motives in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
