TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 9:27

But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

TOPIC: THE HARD CHOICE OF DISCIPLINE

      Great men with great gifts have gone down the line because of their failure to choose discipline. Discipline is not an easy act, it is a hard choice that eventually pays but tough while going through it. Greatness without discipline will eventually turn to ruins. Without discipline wealth and riches that took many years to gather can vanish within seconds.

     Paul in our text said after he preached the gospel, he subject himself to discipline so that he will not be a cast away at the end. Discipline is putting your body under control. It involves denying self pleasure and gratification of desires of the flesh. The flesh want more of this world, More riches, more women, more fame without restrains. The end of flesh gratification is destruction. What shall it profit a man if he have all what he desires in this world and lost the kingdom of God. Make up your mind today to follow the path of discipline and you will reach your destination without regrets.

Action point: To avoid moral bankruptcy, pay discipline.

Prayer: Father help me to embrace discipline in my journey with you in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
