Sin no more

TEXT: John 8:11

[11]She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

TOPIC: SIN NO MORE

      The devil is a professional at accusing people. He identifies his own and mark them with a unique code called satanic identification number. Anyone actively in sin have that number and it is a mark of condemnation, guilt and death. Jesus took sin away by his death and gives us new life that makes it difficult for us to continually live in sin.

           A woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law says that they should be stoned to death. The man was nowhere to be found, probably he took to his heels. The custodian of the law ( Pharisees) wanted Jesus to affirm death sentence on her but mercies said no. Jesus used that opportunity to preach repentance, confession and forgiveness of sins. By the time Jesus was done with his writings on the floors (which some scholars believed that he wrote all their sins on the floor) her accusers left one after the other till they are no more. Jesus pronounced her free with a charge that she should not sin again. One of the ways of reciprocating God’s love and mercies is to sin no more. This make us sons of God and we are sealed by his grace.

Prayer: Repentance is simply “ sinning no more”

Prayer: Father help me to Repentance from all known sins in Jesus name.

The LORD is in his sanctuary (3)

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
