TEXT: Luke 15:18-19

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

TOPIC: LESSONS FROM THE PRODIGAL SON (6)

       Genuine repentance takes place at the heart, it is accompany with corresponding actions of forsaking the old ways of living and instantaneous change of attitude. God looks at the heart, a contrite heart, he cannot despise, he knows truly those that have repented and he is ever willing to receive and accept them back.

      Some people linger in sins because they feel that they have done terrible things which warrant bigger punishment and they are ready to die in their sins rather than confess and turn away from it. The prodigal son was willing to face the punishment and consequences of his action. His story was a parable Jesus used to explain genuine repentance at work. Take a cue from prodigal son and genuinely repent from every known sin that may hinder your fellowship with God.

Action point: Genuine repentance takes place at the earth.

Prayer: Father help me to repent genuinely from every known sin in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
