TEXT: Luke 15:15-16

And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

TOPIC: LESSONS FROM THE PRODIGAL SON (4)

 Believers are citizens of heavens and ambassadors of God on earth. The earth is not our home, we are sojourners and will return home someday. As Christians it is expected of us not to get ourselves tangle with worldly affairs and our affections should be on things above and not on worldly things.

The prodigal son forgot that he was God’s ambassador, the scripture said he went and joined himself to a citizen. He lost his identity with the world, lost focus and sense of direction. What he got was ridicule , pains and disappointments. Do not join or get mixed up with the world that you forget your heavenly citizenship. Remember your identity in Christ and live up to his expectations.

Action point : You are God’s ambassador on earth

Prayer: Father help me not to loose my heavenly citizenship on earth in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
