TEXT: PSALMS 1

KEY VERSE: PSALMS 1 :3

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

TOPIC: BENEFITS OF WALKING WITH GOD

         God is interested in relationship with men. Nobody walks with him without enjoying his full benefits walking with God requires self discipline which involves denying self from pleasures of the world and not gratifying sinful desires.

    The writer of Psalm 1 stated the consequences of evil companionship. He writes about their deeds and concludes that they shall not prosper. As for the godly who have chosen to walk with the Lord , determined in their mind to meditate in his word, sold out to his will, they shall be happy and prosper in all ways. True happiness is found in doing God’s will and abiding in his word.

Action point: True prosperity and happiness is found in walking with God.

Prayer: Father help me to walk with you all the days of my life in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
