Do not despise your little beginnings

TEXT: Zechariah 4: 10

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the LORD that search all around the world.)

TOPIC: Do not despise your little beginnings

  Every greatness and success have a beginning. Big successes do not always start big. It always start small and eventually becomes big. Many people have big dreams and want to start big. It does not always work like that.Big dreams are better planned by breaking them into goals. Goals can further be set into short term goals and long term goals. The little things that will eventually become big are the short term goals which require processes.

God’s word came to Governor Zerubbabel’s who was weary about the completion of the temple that had tarried for about forty years. God encouraged him not to despise the little beginnings of his labour in ensuring the temple was completed. He was prompted to celebrate his little beginnings because he was on the path of completing the project. Delay may comes but consistency, focus and efforts on your goals will bring it to reality. When you are weary and want to despise your little beginnings, remember only little things will eventually become great.

Action point: your beginnings may be small but your end will be great if you do not give up on your dreams.

Prayer: Father help me not to look down on my small beginnings but rather help me to have confidence in you at all times in Jesus name

In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
