TEXT: JONAH 1: 4-17

KEY VERSE: Jonah 1:4 

But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

TOPIC: WHEN GOD WORK AGAINST A MAN (2)

        The will of God must be done on earth, the earth belongs to him and he will do all to ensure that his will prevail. Man cannot alter his will. 

       Jonah ran away from God because he was not interested in God's plan to save the wicked Assyrians. As a result of his disobedience he brought losses to the people he boarded ship with. It could have been more terrific if they did not call on God. 

        When a man work against God, he will not face the consequences alone but all the people that pitch tent with him will also benefit from it. Be resolute to do God's will and do not work against his will so that his blessings can be upon you and your family.

Prayer: Father help me to abide in your will for my life in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
