TEXT: JONAH 1: 1-3

KEY VERSE: Jonah 1:3

 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord , and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord .

TOPIC: WHEN GOD WORK AGAINST A MAN (1)

       God is  good all the time and it is aberration to say God is evil. No evil in him. Definition of good and evil is limited to humans. What is called good maybe evil at God's sight and what is evil may be good at God's sight. God determines definition of good. 

          Jonah was divinely instructed to preach in Nineveh the capital of Assyria. The evil country that had oppressed the nation of Israel for many years. This was hard on Jonah, he felt they should be destroyed and knowing fully well that God is a merciful God who could change his mind if they repent. Instead of going to preach there, he decided to run away to another country.God was angry with him and worked against him.

When God work against a man, he will move such a man to leave his presence. The man will become responsible for his own life and manage it in such a way that he will engage on suicidal mission that would take his life untimely.Why? He is working against God and no man can work against God without paying for it with his dear life.

Prayer: Father help me not to work against you and your will for my life in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
