GRATITUDE (3)

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

WEDNESDAY 10TH NOVEMBER,2021

TEXT: 2nd Samuel 6: 14- 23

KEY VERSE: 2nd Samuel 6: 16 

And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord ; and she despised him in her heart.

TOPIC: GRATITUDE (3)

          Appreciation and thanks to God is a necessity. It is a way of acknowledging that God is the owner of all we have and giver of lives who can take it without asking for our permission.

         David expressed his gratitude to God for enabling him to bring the ark to the capital city where he was after more than fifty years of the departure of the ark from the temple of the Lord. The ark was the symbol of the presence of God among his people. David was happy to have the ark where he dwelled and not only that he was grateful to God for making him King despite more qualified and better candidates than him. All these made him to forget his status of royalty and dance in such a way that his royal robe was uncovered and his wife despised him.

       Giving thanks to God start from the heart. If you think of the Lord's goodness and mercies over your life from the day you were born till now, you will be amazed and begin to thank God. We need to cultivate a gratitude heart. A gratitude heart is a heart that is thoughtful of God's goodness and blessings and thank him in an uncommon way.

Prayer: Thank God in an uncommon way today.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
