FRIDAY 26TH NOVEMBER 2021

TEXT: JUDGES 7: 1-8

KEY VERSE: Judges 7:7 

And the Lord said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.

TOPIC: DIVINE INSTRUCTION (5)

    God's ways of doing things are different from ours and it pays to always align our plans with his ways. Human strategies may fail but God's strategies done in God's own ways cannot fail

     Gideon raised thirty two thousand soldiers to wage war against the Midianites who had oppressed them for forty years. The number of the army was  great enough to expect victory but God instructed Gideon that the number of his army were too much and if they won the battle, they would think it was by their strength and number. This was a difficult task, the army was reduced to three hundred to fight thousands of Midianites army and at three hundred God was pleased to fight on their behalf.

      God's ways of doing things are not always reasonable to us because it defies human thinking.  It takes a relationship and walk with God to understand how God works. He is full of mysteries and all you can just do is to just trust and obey his instructions . 

Prayer: l receive grace to trust and obey God's instructions in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
