And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

TOPIC: MINISTRY GIFTS - PASTORS

           The ministry of pastor is to feed the members of the church with the sound word of God, guidance and instructions to the Church.

                 Paul comnisioned people as pastors in the church he founded and his instructions to them was to provide leadership for them. Without pastors to nurture and build up the souls that have been brought in by the evangelists, the souls may not grow up in the knowledge of God. Pastors today are expected to teach people the whole counsel of God and provide leadership for the church. 

          Pastors are good administrators, with the chief role of ensuring that their flock are doing well and growing in the Lord. To function in the pastoral ministry, one need to be called into it , having administration gifts is not enough but you need an anointing of the Holy Spirit to sustain you there.

Prayer: Father revive your pastors and give them fresh insights into your word in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
