GREEDINESS (4)

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

THURSDAY 26TH AUGUST,2021

TEXT: NUMBERS 22: 14-17

KEY VERSE : Num 22:17

 because I will reward you handsomely and do whatever you say. Come and put a curse on these people for me."

TOPIC: GREEDINESS (4)

          Balaam was a great Prophet with a reputation of God backing whatever he says. He was consulted by Balak the king of Midian to curse the people of Israel. He made the mind of God known to them that God would not allow him curse the people he have blessed. King Balak who wanted to have his way sent another distinguished princes with promises of giving Balaam whatever he asked of. At this moment,Balaam changed his mind and followed them to curse Isreal. After several failed attempts to curse Isreal, he gave them a strategy to win against them and it worked for them.

         Balaam compromised because of wealth and riches. He saw that as a quick opportunity to become rich but his greediness cut his life short when God instructed Moses that he must die for the sin of seducing the Isreal to sin. Do not fall into the error of Balaam. Beware of  Greediness.

Prayer: Father help me to be contented with what I have in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
