TOPIC: HANDLING DEPRESSION (6)

KEY VERSE: 1 KINGS 19:7

And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.

              Discouragement often set in after great spiritual exploits. Such discouragmment usually associate with depression and fatigue which only God can heal if you dwell on his word which is strength and fire that quicken dead bones. 

               Elijah probably wanted to sleep off finally but the angel touched him the second time and told him to eat more because the journey ahead of him was great. What an amazing God! When he thought it was all over, God said "I am just starting with you". With the food, God gave him great strength and traveled additional two hundred miles without food for forty days to mount Sinai.

        Are you considering abandoning that dream or purpose? Are you not interested in moving on again? You just want it to all end there. God says it is not yet over. God sees ahead of you. There is still more work to do that will result to unprecedented victories and celebrations. 

Prayer: Father help me not to give up on that which you have destined me to accomplish in Jesus name.

In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
