TEXT: 1 KINGS 19:1-5

TOPIC: HANDLING DEPRESSION (5)

KEY VERSE: 1 KINGS 19:5

And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

                 Depression eat up a man's strength. It sap strength and kill the inner drive and motivation. It takes an angel to strengthen Elijah because no one could have help him rise again except God. 

              The angel did not just tell him to rise because he knew that rising without strength from within will result to nothing. Rising from depression is not enough. You have to eat. What to eat is the word of God. The word of God gives life, strength and hope. Whatever the depression, God have a word for you, hold on to the word, confess it, memorize it, ponder on it every moment and gradually you are moving out of that depression.

Prayer: Father give me a word that will put an end to that depression in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
