TEXT: 1 Kings 19:1-9

TOPIC: HANDLING DEPRESSION (2)

KEY VERSE:1Kings19:4 

while he himself went a day's journey into the desert. He came to a broom tree, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. "I have had enough, LORD," he said. "Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors."

         God knows how you feel. This may be hard to believe. Others may not understand how you feel but God knows how it pains you. The truth that God know how you feel give guarantee that he is able to help you if you tell him all. 

           Elijah did not beat about the bush. He told God exactly how he felt. He did not hide anything, he simply said "I have had enough, take my life". Have you had enough of failure, sickness, pains, mourning, disappointment, unemployment, betrayal. Tell it all to Jesus, he knows  exactly what he will do to fix it. 

Prayer:Father do that thing which only you alone can do to fix my life in Jesus name.

In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
